Q: Why is the blog titled “Gone With the Summer”?
A: My blog is actually named after the 1939 classic, Gone With the Wind. I chose to use a spin off of GWTW because it’s not only my favorite movie of all time, but because it truly is a timeless classic. Other contenders included “My Life is Summer” and “Sarah Says Summer”.
Q: What made you want to write a blog?
A: I was inspired to start writing about my adventures mainly just because of looking at other blogs and thinking, “Hey, I could do this!” I’ve also just always really liked writing and sharing my experiences with other people, and I knew this would be a great way to keep my mind sharp over summer as well. (No, my teachers didn’t bribe me to say that.)
Q: You mention you’ve moved a lot… where have you lived?

The grand total: 5 states, 7 cities, 6 moves. Trust me, it is every bit as glamorous as it sounds.
Q: I want to start a bucket list and/or blog too! Can I use some of your ideas?
A: Absolutely! A lot of my list items came from researching other blogs and bucket lists in the first place. You don’t need to ask for permission, but remember to give credit where credit is due, which goes for any site you borrow from! (:

there was a sequel to Gone With The Wind, it was called Gone With the Windy, but it didn’t get nearly the fame as the first one, for obvious reasons
To be honest I don’t even remember how I came across your blogs, but I’m definitely glad I did. To begin with, you are a really good writer and it shows in your blogs. I love reading about you newest adventure in your bucket list :) You inspired me to write my own summer bucket list earlier this summer along with some of my friends. I’m proud to say that I am the only one still staying true to my word. Thanks for letting me have a summer to remember!!
