Ta-da! One more item to check off the list. Now I know what you’re thinking – it’s one of the first days of summer, and this is the best you can come up with? I know, because I was thinking the exact same thing. Of all the things to do on my list, #12 seems to be perhaps the most simplistic and unrewarding. However, I actually found it to be quite challenging to find 20 different colored nail polishes, even from my expansive repertoire… which turned out to be pretty rinky-dink after all. I’ve also since learned that about 10 of those that I selected are way past their prime. We’re talking nail polishes that haven’t seen the light of day since the late 80s/early 90s. Some of them might even qualify for an exhibit at the Smithsonian Institute. But alors, 30 minutes (slowpoke, yes) and a sore back later, I had become one step closer to accomplishing my goal in the bigger picture. Ordinarily I would show you a picture at this point, but I actually took the liberty of filming this one! And of course… my computer decided to throw a temper-tantrum instead. I’ve been working really hard to fix all of the file conversions and .wmv files and whatnot, and I promise I’ll post it as soon as I figure all of this out. Until then, if you haven’t already noticed, I’ve posted a poll in the sidebar to let YOU, the readers, help pick what will be my summer song of 2011! Feel free to look each of them up and then vote for your favorite (you can vote once per day). I’ll leave it open for about a week, so keep checking back and voting for your favorite. I wish I had some more exciting news, darnit /: Next week will be much more “thrillaricious” and “super rare”, I promise! (I saw “Judy Moody and the Not-Bummer Summer” today – go watch it, it will put you in the summer mood, guaranteed, especially if you remember reading those books as a kid.) I suppose I’m still in a ‘resting’ period – afterall, it still just feels like it’s the weekend! Thanks again to all of the readers, you’re all so amazingly-wonderful-tastic-rific-ible!
Love & Summer
