First I’d like to say Thank You to everyone who came out to my blog and voted for what you thought I should pick to be my Official Summer Song of 2011! I had well over 50 votes, which is phenomenal! The song I have decided to commemorate this summer to is… “Pack Up” by Eliza Doolittle. Here’s why: As of right now, this song really fits what’s going on in my life right now, and has been for the last three or four months (more on that story later). Also, I personally love the 40s vibe it gives off! All in all, those are the two main reasons why I chose this song for my summer.
Now, I also have a few housekeeping things to dust around here. First off, if you didn’t see it in my last post, Gone With the Summer now has it’s own Facebook page, so definitely go ‘like’ it! And don’t forget that I also have my own Twitter account, so go let out your creepy inhibitions and ‘follow’ me! Also, I’ve been noticing that a lot of people have been making their own blogs with their bucket lists on them, and that’s great! I’ll be looking for guest bloggers in the future, so if you’re interested, shoot me an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org. Here’s what I’ll be looking for in your blog:
- Must be at least 2 weeks old
- Must have your bucket list published on your website
- Must have at least 6 posts, including at least 4 posts about crossing off list items
- Must have contact information publicly available on your website (basically just an e-mail address)
If you like what you see, don’t forget to rate, comment, and subscribe! Look for more exciting posts in the coming weeks as Gone With the Summer goes wild! Thanks so much you guys, you’re all amazing just the way you are!
Love & Summer,
