First, I just want to start off by saying thank you to everyone who has visited my site so far! All of the hits have me more than excited to start working on the list! However, I have come to realize that there is much more preparation involved than I originally anticipated. For example, it turns out that creating a blog is a lot of work! As you can see, I’ve been updating all of my pages in the sidebar to the left – check them out and we can be best friends forever? There I’ll be keeping everything you need to know about everything… well, you’ll have to ask your parents where babies come from, but that’s about it. It has also come to my attention that several of my list items will require daily upkeep. This shortened, daily to-do list is as follows:
#9. Wake up every morning before 7:30 a.m.
#31. Do 100 situps every day.
#41. Finish 4 books.
#57. Start a blog.
#65. Stretch everyday to get perfect heel stretches and scorpions.
#92. Keep room (relatively) clean.
Obviously it will take longer than one day to finish four books, but it just as obviously needs to be worked on consistently. Speaking of which, I have chosen “The Help” by Kathryn Stockett as my (or more my mother’s) first selection, which means I will finished just in time for the movie (hopefully). Similarly, #57 needs to be worked on in order to maintain its integrity and purpose. Just in case, I am going to be keeping a checklist by my computer so that my efforts do not go unnoticed (and my slips do not just slide under the radar either). With the help of my dad (the Microsoft Excel/spreadsheet genius), I should have said checklist ready by Thursday. Only 4 more days until the adventure begins, ready or not! Wow… I managed to mention both of my parents in one blog post. Alright, I think we’re done here for the day…
